Window Condensation
Window condensation occurs when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cooler glass surface, causing water vapor to turn into liquid droplets on the window. This is commonly seen during colder months when the temperature difference between the indoors and outdoors is significant. High indoor humidity from activities like cooking, bathing, or drying clothes can increase condensation buildup. While a small amount is normal, excessive condensation may lead to issues such as mold growth, dampness, and damage to window frames. Proper ventilation, using dehumidifiers, and maintaining a consistent indoor temperature can help reduce and prevent window condensation.
